Active volcano you can climb. Eruptions every 15–20 minutes from the summit; black sand beach at the base; one road, no cars, and the village of Ginostra accessible only by boat. Sleeping under volcanic glow is the experience.

Guided sunset climbs from Stromboli town reach the lower viewing terrace (290m). The full summit climb (700m) is regulated and currently restricted; check the volcanic alert level before booking.
