Old town (El Barrio) climbs to Santa Bárbara castle; Postiguet beach is the main strip but the better swimming is at Playa San Juan. The Costa Blanca summer is among the most stable Mediterranean weather you can book — heat-cliff days above 35°C still happen but rare.
